    When designing the Katai series, emphasis was placed on eye-catching design and quality workmanship. The blade is hand-forged in 5 layers of Japanese VG10 steel. The handle is made of root wood, which is further treated with resin, pressed and finally carved. Each knife is so unique. A chef's knife has a wide, robust blade and is one of the most important knives for both professional and amateur chefs.
